Standard Features

A unique Safety Enclosed Housing provides safety protection features that reduce the possibility of accidental contact with the drive mechanism. The safety housing also guards against injuries from raising or lowering the barrel. A simple, easy-operating hydraulic system (except on portable Model TB-1) tilts the open- end barrel through a full 90 degrees. Barrel loading height is designed to facilitate easy loading of media or drying materials into the barrel without excessive lifting. The barrel can be readily lowered to the correct height for unloading onto standard screening or transfer equipment. Optional Power-Tilt is available (on all models except TB-1) with your choice of hydraulic or electrically actuated tilting system with bush-button control. Added features include electronic variable speed drive, our exclusive "No Seam" vinyl Plastisol™ barrel lining for highest cushion, wear-resistance and visibility, rigid welded construction, all resulting in reduced handling at lowest finishing costs.

BARRELS
Open, conical type, made of welded steel plate.
BARREL LINING
No-Seam Vinyl Plastisol, rubber, or urethane lining.
DRIVE
Electronic Variable Speed, except Model TB-1 with mechanically variable speed. Model TB-1, 110 volts, 1 PH, 60HZ including barrel heater. All other models 230/460 volts, 3 PH, 50/60HZ including barrel heater. Specify voltage desired. Foreign voltages available at additional cost.
CONTROLS
Start-Stop Push Buttons, Variable Speed Adjust, 0-99 Hr. Cycle Timer, and overload protection are standard on all models. Model TB-1 had hand operated tilting system. All other models furnished with standard hand-hydraulic barrel tilting system.
FINISH
Machine enamel on all exposed surfaces of machine.
OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT

• Electric rod radiant heating elements as follows:
  Model TB-1, 800 watts; TB-4, 2400 watts; TB-9, 5400 watts; TB-18, 10,800 watts. For electric dryers, outside top half of each barrel is aluminum coated for heat reflection. Bottom half coated black for maximum heat absorption. Separate control switch for heating elements.
• Electric or hydraulic tilt system with push button controls.
• Hinged barrel guard with safety interlock. Barrel covers - solid or perforated.
